Here is what you need to know about ceramic coatings. Typically ceramic coating are SIO2 based or in English "liquid glass". These coating will act as a sacrificial clear coat over your cars original coat and will give your paint extended life. These coatings help to prevent overall defects in the paint that can worsen over time and result in a trip to the body shop, often paying much more than you expected!!  Overall ceramic coatings are the future of the detailing industry.. The biggest misconception is that the ceramic coating will never have to be washed and will remain perfect forever. That is Absolutely false! The coating acts much like a second layer of clear coat which means it much be maintained and washed.. bird droppings and water spots can still happen and you will still need to wash the vehicle. But there is a bright side, washing your vehicle will be a breeze. Another benefit would be that in the case that your coating does get etching with water spots and other staining, it can be easily removed with polish. Lastly you cant talk about ceramic coatings with out discussion its hydrophobicity. The water beeds off like no other wax or sealant can match backed with extremely long durability..

Time to maintain that coating​

How to know when its time to wash your car?  So your car will get dirty as time goes on. When you get your car coated the first thing you will notice is the intense water beeding due to the hydrophobicity of the cerqmic coating. Over time as you drive and wear in the vehicle the pours of the cermic will get filled and not beed as much. So generally wash yoour vehicle as soon as the cars water beeding quality begins to flaten

So you finally got that ceramic coating you have been wanting for so long.. now what?
Its time to wash the car! 

step 1) Clean them wheels. Use a degreaser to thoroughly scrub the rims and wheels with a variety of wheel brushes 
step 2) Rinse the entire vehicle with a high pressured hose
step 3) Wash the vehicle with your choice of soap. it is highly recommended to use a car soap infused with wax or ceramic
step 4) Rinse the vehicle one more time and dry with a drying cloth
step 5) Seal the vehicle with your choice of sealant and a dry rag to help prolong the ceramic coating. Any spray sealant will be fine for this step

repeat theses steps on a monthly basis. ensuring proper and consistent maintenance will help the ceramic coating reach its full potential and keep your car shiny for years to come.
